Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Runner to join our dynamic restaurant team. Duties
- Deliver prepared dishes promptly from the kitchen to guests' tables, ensuring presentation quality and accuracy.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including plating and garnishing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service stations and dining areas.
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of food items.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Assist in setting up banquet or special event dining areas as needed.
- Support kitchen staff with basic food prep or cooking tasks if required, adhering to safety standards.
- Provide excellent guest services by being attentive, courteous, and responsive to guest inquiries.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, banquet, or hospitality environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling safety and sanitation standards.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with food preparation, bussing, or kitchen operations is advantageous.
