Job Overview
Assistant Manager needed to help run a snack bar and milkshake shop. You will be responsible with the day-to-day operations, keeping customers happy, helping keep the store clean, and aiding in the management of the team. This is a seasonal position with training on May 1st and store opening May 2nd until mid September 2026. You need to be organized to keep operations running smoothly.
This is a good fit for someone with food service or retail management experience who is comfortable taking charge and aiding the day-to-day operations.
Duties
- Keeping the store clean – inside and outside the building
- Strictly enforce all health, safety, and food product guidelines
- Maintain e-bike charging and regular maintenance
- Staying connected with delivery staff
- Assembling milkshakes, handling pizza product, and other items to purchase
- Always providing positive customer service
- Training staff as needed
- Inventory control – consistently track product inventory and minimize waste
- Manage the POS system and Time Clock
- Manage staff duties: food handling, deliveries, cashier responsibilities
- Handling food orders in person, online, or over the phone.
- Scheduling Staff and Payroll monitoring
- Securing the building and equipment all all times
- Aiding food product deliveries and safely storing deliveries
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, retail, or similar (not required but ideal)
- Comfortable using POS system (training provided)
- Unmatched Customer Service Skills
- Able to lead a team and hold staff accountable
- Full understanding of food safety practices
- Can handle a fast-paced environment
- Reliable; adheres to work schedule provided
Payments and Time Commitment· 40 Hours of work per week minimum. Overtime as needed.· $16-17.50/hr, bi-weekly paychecks· Overtime paid 1.5x your hourly rateAbout the Role
This is a hands-on position at a small, local concession stand found within the Wonder Mountain Fun Park partnered with Ruby’s Diner® Milkshakes. You are aiding the Manager with all duties. This is a fast-paced environment and if you like working with people and like staying busy, this could be a good fit.
