What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dietary Aides Part-Time position at Seashore Gardens?
The Simon & Sylvia Zisman Seashore Gardens Living Center is an independent, nonprofit home for the aged with over 100 years of service. We are looking for a dedicated Dietary Aides, and Servers.
The primary purpose of your job position is to provide assistance in all dietary functions as directed/instructed and in accordance with established Kosher Style Dietary practices.
Job Functions:
- Assist in serving meals as necessary and on a timely basis.
- Assist in daily cleaning duties (cleaning tables, refrigerators, floors, utensils, etc.)
- Assist cook in preparing meals in accordance with sanitary regulations.
- Assist in checking diet trays before distribution.
- Deliver food carts, trays, etc. to designated areas.
- Assist in inventorying and storing in-coming food, supplies, etc. as necessary.
- Dispose of food and waste in accordance with established policies.
- Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent resident care information to assure resident rights are protected.
