Searstone is seeking a compassionate, organized, and adaptable Human Resources Specialist to support all aspects of the employee experience. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing community where every team member plays an important role in our success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new employees.
  • Coordinate new hire orientation and create a welcoming, engaging onboarding experience.
  • Maintain accurate employee files, HR records, and required documentation while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Enroll new hires in employee benefits and partner with Payroll to ensure accurate deductions and benefit administration.
  • Support employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Assist with employee relations, policy administration, and day-to-day HR operations.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for employees by providing guidance, answering questions, and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with leaders and team members across departments to support organizational goals.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and contribute to new initiatives as our community continues to grow.
  • Participate in cross-training opportunities and provide support in other HR functions as needed.

Qualifications

  • Human Resources experience required; healthcare, senior living, or long-term care experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) preferred.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and adaptable with a willingness to embrace change and continuous learning.
  • A collaborative team player who enjoys supporting others and contributing to a mission-driven organization.
