A day in the life

Based in Jacksonville, NC, you’ll start your day reviewing scheduled service calls and ensuring your van is stocked with essential tools and parts. Your morning might kick off with a refrigerator that won’t cool, followed by a washer that’s leaving water on the floor. You’ll diagnose issues methodically, explain options to the homeowner in clear, friendly terms, complete the repair or maintenance, and document the work before heading to your next stop.

Throughout the day, you’ll apply up-to-date repair techniques on a range of household appliances—refrigerators, washers, dryers, and ovens—while keeping safety front and center. You’ll keep precise records, manage your inventory, and keep customers informed about timing and next steps. Most evenings, you’ll be back home, ready to recharge for tomorrow’s route.

• End-to-end diagnostics and repair for common household appliances (refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens).

What you bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; formal technical training in appliance repair is a plus.
• Hands-on experience in appliance service, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Strong diagnostic instincts and problem-solving ability.
• Excellent people skills and the ability to explain technical issues simply.
• Self-direction and solid time management in a field-based role.
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
