Required to obtain Secret Clearance
Contributes to the development, documentation, implementation and consultation for the application of engineering tools, processes and standards. Assists with training in the utilization of processes and tools and supports the integration of engineering designs. Assists in the identification and validation of user access roles and tip sheets. Supports the development and implementation of standards. Assists in providing configuration management, coordinating changes and performing assessments of compliance. Assists in the development, maintenance and distribution of engineering documents, reports and correspondence to enable business activity. Collects, analyzes and validates engineering performance metrics and coordinates organizational requirements to support business needs. Works under general supervision.
This position is part of the Flight Simulation Labs Operations team, and the applicant will be working in a fast pace environment supporting flight simulation systems through our Logistics Resource Team.
Position Responsibilities:
· Maintain products, materials, and processes to meet regulatory requirements and ensure consistent quality
· Use standard guidelines to stage material, verify products meet regulatory conformance and contractual compliance
· Resolve discrepancies, defects and ensure issues are identified for resolution.
· Create and maintain tracking data and inputs information into engineering systems
· Candidate must have strong people skills, self-motivated and excellent customer relation skills
· Work well in a team environment
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
· Experience with Material Management and Inventory Control
· Experience with inventory management systems or database applications
· Experience in shipping and receiving
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
· Experience with product management
· Experience with electronic parts and equipment
· Familiarity with Lab equipment Property Management requirements
Education / Experience:
AA degree in related discipline and typically 1 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to pass Background, Drug Screen and if applicable Medical (i.e. Vision, Hearing, or Physical) if Required by Client.
