We are actively interviewing for a Senior Events Coordinator to join the Business Development team at a top-tier international law firm. This is a high-visibility role supporting the firm’s marketing and client development efforts by planning and execution of sophisticated, client-facing events. The position partners closely with attorneys to deliver seamless experiences ranging from intimate client dinners to large-scale conferences and internal programs.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required; 4 years of professional event planning experience.
- Law firm, financial services, or professional services experience strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, organization, and client service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Cvent, InterAction, or Vuture a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and manage all phases of firm-sponsored events, including logistics, budgeting, vendors, and onsite execution.
- Collaborate with attorneys and internal teams to design events aligned with client and business development goals.
- Research and source venues (primarily NYC), conduct site visits, and negotiate contracts and pricing.
- Manage invitations, RSVP tracking, event materials, and post-event follow-up and reporting.
- Maintain event databases, calendars, CRM updates, and support client gifting initiatives.
