Job Description
- Lead and manage all manufacturing engineering and maintenance personnel across the facility
- Champion continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles to reduce scrap and waste
- Manage and oversee capital expenditure projects, equipment upgrades, budgets, and P&L performance
- Directly supervise three reports including one Manufacturing Engineer and two Maintenance employees
- Drive plant KPI achievement and improve production metric goals for the Tier 2 automotive facility
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance (PM) program strategies to minimize equipment failures and reduce downtime
Key Requirements
- BS degree required
- Proficiency with ERP/SAP software and familiarity with automotive manufacturing processes is highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and project management; ability to effectively multi-task is essential
