Job Description
- Lead and manage a team of 5 Manufacturing/Process Engineers and 1 Engineering Technician within a CNC manufacturing environment
- Direct all machining functions and guide the team in developing new products, solutions, and lean manufacturing processes
- Provide hands-on expertise in CNC programming and tooling design to optimize production capabilities
- Automate processes and deliver troubleshooting and technical assistance on the shop floor
- Serve as the primary technical liaison with the customer engineering department to support New Part Introduction (NPI), project management, timelines, and design implementation
- Drive automation initiatives utilizing FANUC robots throughout the plant
- Coordinator
Key Requirements
- Proficiency in MasterCam (open to other CAM software) and SolidWorks for tooling and fixture design
- Experience with FANUC robotics, including pick-and-place applications
- Strong knowledge of CNC machining operations including Lathes, Mills, and some Swiss-type machines
- Demonstrated experience with aerospace and/or military machined parts manufacturing
- Bachelor's degree (BS) preferred
