Description
Our goal at SeaQuest is to ensure guests have a one-of-a-kind experience interacting with animals from all over the world. SeaQuest is looking for new team members to join our Bird/Reptile/Mammal Husbandry Team who will enhance the guest experience by creating a warm, inviting, and energetic environment throughout the aquarium! We are seeking animal-loving individuals who will dedicate themselves to the care of our birds, reptiles, and mammals under this division.
Animal Husbandry Team Member Responsibilities:
- Interact with guests
- Clean bird/reptile/mammal enclosures
- Feed and care for birds/reptiles/mammals
- Monitor behavior of birds/reptiles/mammals
- Provide enrichment for birds/reptiles/mammals
Pay $13.50-14.50 per hour: Depending on experience
Requirements
Animal Husbandry Team Member Requirements:
- Experience working with birds/reptiles/mammals is preferred
- Must be able to work all shifts - AM, PM, and weekends
- Must also be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Willingness to learn and master husbandry procedures
- Optimistic, positive and cheerful outlook is necessary
Education:
- Degree in related field is preferred but not necessary
