Are you ready to help shape the future of travel and hospitality? CoralTree is seeking an exceptional Senior Group Sales Manager to join our team at the Seaport Hotel in Boston. As the Senior Group Sales Manager, you will be an integral member of the team that actively solicits and handles inquiries of groups. You will deliver distinctively different guest experiences than our competitors, and nurture lasting relationships with our customers. Responsibilities

  • Create, sustain, and strengthen relationships with prospective customers, influencers and strategic partners.
  • Support the financial and cultural expectations of the property with integrity.
  • Exhibit the ability to introduce existing relationships to the property.
  • Innovate, identify, and create new contacts and develop sales leads through prospecting, sales calls, trade shows sales missions, Fam trips, etc.
  • Respond to sales inquiries and contacting potential clients to build and nurture lasting relationships.
  • Understand competitor strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand, and strategically sell against our competition.
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of the hotel amenities, venues, and options, and provide recommendations to create authentic and distinctively differentiated experiences for our groups.
  • Create, execute, and support the operational aspects of business booked, such as generating proposals, writing contracts, and corresponding with customers.
  • Organize and maintain timely and accurate recordings of activity of appointments, calls made, and business leads.
  • Partner with our field sales force and Global Sales team to grow business for all of CoralTree Hospitality.
  • Be empowered to take initiative to go beyond the ordinary and differentiate us from the competition, and create loyalty and excitement.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of hotel sales and marketing leadership experience.
  • A Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or the same in experience).
  • Well-versed in major urban market settings. Boston a plus!
  • A true entrepreneur that thrives in ever-changing environments.
  • Organized, personable, and strong verbal and written communication skills.

Salary range: $85,000 - $95,000/yr. bonus
