What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Assistant position at SEALY MANAGEMENT COMPANY, INC?
SEALY FURNITURE OUTLET
RETAILS SALES & CORPORATE HOUSING LEASES
Hours: Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm
Lunch 12:00pm
Some Saturday hours during special event sales
Duties: Process Excel billing for 2 furniture locations.
Support other departments' billing as needed.
Process paperwork in VersiRent (inventory software).
Take monthly payments.
End of day paperwork including deposits.
Operation of office equipment.
Maintain safety meeting files.
Filing including boxing old files for storage.
Inventory maintenance including making inventory corrections and product codes.
Provide customer support by assisting sales staff with sales, refunds, pricing and inventory control.
Process 90 day applications, payroll deductions and payments.
Answer phones.
Cover lunches.
Supervise retail staff when managers are not available.
As key holder responsible for opening and/or closing the store. Maintain cash drawer and extra cash.
Working knowledge of day to day activities of all departments.
Awareness of safety regulations and keeping work areas safe.
Ordering and organizing office supplies.
Ordering and organizing building supplies.
Maintain AL Driver's License and insurance to drive a company vehicle when needed. Run errands as needed.
