Summary
What You'll Do
Generate New Business Opportunities
- Research prospective customers, industries, and target markets.Identify and engage potential customers through phone calls, email campaigns, networking, and social media outreach.Qualify leads and uncover customer needs, challenges, and opportunities.Schedule meetings and introductions for Territory Account Managers.
- Initiate conversations with engineers, buyers, operations leaders, and decision-makers.Develop professional relationships with prospective customers and industry contacts.Represent Sealing Devices professionally in all interactions.
- Assist in developing target account strategies and prospecting plans.Maintain accurate prospect and customer information within CRM systems.Support sales campaigns, trade shows, customer events, and marketing initiatives.Collaborate with Territory Account Managers to identify growth opportunities.
- Develop knowledge of Sealing Devices' products, fabrication capabilities, services, and target industries.Gain exposure to technical sales processes, customer presentations, and account management strategies.Participate in ongoing sales training and professional development programs.
What You'll Bring
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Engineering, or a related field preferred.Internship, customer service, sales, recruiting, or business development experience is a plus.Recent graduates and early-career professionals are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Comfortable initiating conversations and building new relationships.Positive attitude and willingness to learn.Strong organizational and time management skills.Self-motivated and goal-oriented.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.Experience with CRM systems is a plus but not required.

Business Development Specialist Qualifications and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree in Business, Sales or Technical Discipline or related field required.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales or Technical Discipline, or related field preferred.At least 1-2 years of experience in business development, sales, customer service.

- Ability to sit for extended periods of time while working on a computer, phone, and logistics systems.
