BASIC FUNCTION
Machine Operator includes the operational functions of Press Table Operator, Fabricator, Set-up, CNC Cut Table, CNC Laser, Vulcanizing, CNC Mill and CNC Lathe.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Required –High School Diploma And Two Years Related Experience.
Preferred – High School diploma, two years related experience and trade school.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES (Not Inclusive Of)
- Fabricate seals, gaskets and O-rings.
- Responsible for setting up and operating a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
- Control and adjust the machine settings to complete routine tasks according to specifications.
- Perform duties, such as setting up tools, materials, and supplies for yourself and other workers
- Clean work area, machines, and tools; and assist other team members in performing their tasks.
- Accept assignments given by Department Manager and complete work within time frame and with a high degree of quality.
- Complete an In Process Inspection at the beginning of each job and have Quality verify the part before cutting the full production run.
- Stack and box completed products to minimize damage and ensure easy counting by shipping clerks.
- Exercise care in production so as not to damage molds or production equipment.
- Maintain a clean, neat and organized workspace practicing the 5s method of organization.
- Properly store molds, equipment and scrap upon completion of a job.
- Perform light preventative maintenance on the equipment.
- Log information on Production ticket and turn in with work.
- Ensure completed products are placed in proper area for shipping or placing in inventory.
- Make recommendations to management on ways of improving production efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with all other departments.
- Turn paperwork in accurately and on time.
- Assure that all products are produced/manufactured to the highest standard of quality.
- Tend and observe equipment and machinery to verify efficient and safe operation.
- Follow all company and OSHA safety rules.
