Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including intake meetings, sourcing, candidate screening, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and onboarding transition.
- Partner directly with executives, senior leaders, and hiring managers to understand organizational priorities, position requirements, team dynamics, and long-term hiring needs.
- Recruit for a broad range of professional positions across Human Resources, business operations, government affairs, public policy, communications, administration, and other corporate functions.
- Develop customized recruiting strategies for complex, highly visible, and leadership-facing searches.
- Serve as a trusted talent advisor by providing hiring managers with market intelligence, candidate availability, compensation insights, and recommendations throughout the search process.
- Build and maintain strong pipelines of passive and active candidates through direct sourcing, networking, referrals, professional associations, and external recruiting platforms.
- Deliver a highly professional candidate experience that reflects the organization’s values, culture, and executive presence.
- Conduct detailed candidate evaluations focused on professional experience, leadership capabilities, communication skills, business judgment, and organizational fit.
- Manage offer development and negotiation in partnership with Human Resources, compensation teams, and business leadership.
- Maintain accurate recruiting activity, candidate records, interview feedback, and hiring documentation within the Applicant Tracking System.
- Monitor recruiting metrics, pipeline health, hiring progress, and time-to-fill while providing clear updates to business leaders.
- Support recruiting process improvements, employer branding initiatives, workforce planning activities, and broader talent acquisition programs.
Day to Day Responsibilities
- Lead intake meetings with hiring managers and executives to define position scope, required qualifications, preferred experience, and candidate evaluation criteria.
- Source and engage qualified candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, professional networks, referrals, targeted outreach, and internal talent pipelines.
- Conduct comprehensive recruiter interviews and present well-qualified candidate profiles to hiring teams.
- Prepare candidates for interviews by providing clear information regarding the organization, position, leadership team, and selection process.
- Coordinate interviews across multiple stakeholders while maintaining timely and professional communication with candidates and hiring teams.
- Facilitate candidate debrief meetings and help hiring managers evaluate qualifications, executive presence, communication style, and overall fit.
- Manage multiple professional and leadership-level searches simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and urgency.
- Draft and deliver candidate communications, interview updates, offer details, and other recruiting-related correspondence.
- Build strong relationships with candidates, executives, hiring managers, HR partners, and other internal stakeholders.
- Track recruiting activity and prepare status reports, pipeline summaries, hiring metrics, and executive-level updates.
- Maintain confidentiality and professional discretion when supporting sensitive, high-profile, or leadership-level searches.
- Stay informed on relevant labor market conditions, recruiting trends, candidate expectations, and competitive hiring practices.
Preferred Experience and Attributes
- 5 years of full-cycle recruiting or talent acquisition experience supporting professional, corporate, or leadership-level positions.
- Demonstrated experience recruiting across Human Resources, business operations, government affairs, public policy, communications, administrative leadership, or related functions.
- Experience managing the complete recruiting process from initial intake through accepted offer and onboarding transition.
- Proven ability to communicate confidently and professionally with executives, senior leaders, hiring managers, and high-level candidates.
- Strong executive presence with exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to understand complex business needs and translate them into effective sourcing and candidate evaluation strategies.
- Experience recruiting for positions requiring discretion, political awareness, sound judgment, and strong stakeholder management.
- Strong direct sourcing capabilities with experience identifying and engaging passive professional talent.
- Experience presenting candidate profiles, market data, and recruiting recommendations to senior leadership.
- Strong negotiation skills with experience managing offers, compensation discussions, and candidate expectations.
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other recruiting and sourcing technologies.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and searches simultaneously.
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, emotional intelligence, and attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Political Science, or a related field is preferred.
