What are the responsibilities and job description for the Salesforce Platform Product Owner position at SeaGlass IT?
Job Details
Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Own and improve order management and fulfillment workflows across all sales channels
- Work with supply chain, engineering, and operations to ensure orders are processed, fulfilled, and delivered accurately
- Identify process gaps or bottlenecks and drive solutions
- Oversee system integrations between order, inventory, and fulfillment platforms
- Support testing and ensure new changes work as expected before launch
- Track performance metrics tied to order speed, accuracy, and customer experience
Top/Must have skills:
- Salesforce OMS (Order Management System) expert
- Knows Order Management from placing the order to when it leaves the warehouse (Order orchestration, inventory reservations, sourcing rules, and fulfillment automation)
- OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud) Experience highly preferred but unsure if those people exist
- Strong hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events ?
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with omnichannel commerce models (D2C, B2B, marketplaces)
- Background integrating order systems with ERP or warehouse systems
- Familiarity with data, KPIs, and process optimization initiatives
