Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care and ensure professional accountability.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other caregivers.
- Coordinate patient care across departments, maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.
- Perform duties aligned with organizational mission, values, and standards.
- Full-time role in ER dayshift / float med-surg.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN).
- Current RN license in the state or compact licensure, with ongoing compliance with licensing requirements.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or completed within 30 days of hire.
- Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, or specialized unit certifications may be required based on department needs.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 lbs regularly.
- Prolonged standing and walking during shifts.
- Capability to perform gripping, reaching, bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting tasks.
