- Evaluate specimen acceptability based on laboratory criteria
- Perform routine and complex testing procedures following protocols
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments
- Prepare, test, and evaluate reagents and quality control materials
- Document maintenance activities and report test results accurately
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Science, Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
- At least one year of clinical testing experience or MLS degree
- Proficiency with computers and laboratory information systems
- Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Certification such as ASCP or AMT is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
