- Performing advanced imaging, hemodynamic monitoring, and recording to assess and treat cardiac and vascular diseases.
- Monitoring, recording, and analyzing electrocardiograms (EKG) and intracardiac pressures.
- Assisting medical teams with sterile procedures and operating X-ray and laboratory equipment.
- Handling blood samples and sterile supplies, working with patients across all ages.
- Focusing on electrophysiology procedures, managing devices like pacemakers and ICDs, and ensuring high-quality care for rhythm disturbances.
- Staying updated on EP protocols, understanding pharmacologic treatments, and applying knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and emergent care.
- Associate’s degree in Cardiovascular Technology or equivalent experience.
- Expertise in electrophysiology, cardiovascular technology, and pharmacology.
- Registration as a Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) through CCI required within 18 months of hire; RCIS preferred.
- ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
- Strong technical and clinical skills in advanced cardiac procedures.
- Ability to work with diverse patient populations, including children and geriatrics.
