Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Job Summary : SEACORP's Combat Systems Business Area is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and develop electronics in power distribution, digital/analog conversion, signal conditioning, rectification, switching, and instrumentation. Candidates should have prior experience with FPGA, cabling design, and power supply selection along with hardware packaging and transfer to production. Applicants need to communicate well and be self-motivated.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline. Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience : Seven (7) years of full-time professional experience working as an Electrical/Electronic Engineer.

Work Environment & Physical Demands: Office & Computer Laboratories - Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and viewing computer screens. Infrequent lifting of <40lbs. Movement between points within the same office or between buildings. Work is performed in generally consistent environmental conditions with some seasonality for temperature differences and lighting.

- Develop end-to-end system engineering drawings and interconnect diagrams in CAD software.
- Select and/or design various cable types (e.g., copper, fiber, ethernet, RF) using military standards.
- Select and/or design cables, equipment, and components to meet Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) best practices and/or military standards.
- Power system design and analysis (e.g., power distribution and load balancing).
- Team oriented with the ability to interface with other engineers, logisticians, and technicians.
- Self-driven to take on responsibility and accountability for workmanship and product deadlines.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline. Master’s degree is a plus.

Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Experience with undersea vehicles and undersea vehicle interface design is highly desirable.
- Experience developing and packing electrical hardware for marine environments is a plus.
- Linux, C experience highly desirable.
