SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Depot Level Repair Manager.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Job Summary : SEACORP is seeking a Depot Level Repair Manager. This person plans, executes, and closes projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget. Acting as the central point of contact, for depot level repair of legacy U.S. Navy Navigation systems.

Responsibilities:

Repair Management & Technical Leadership:

  • Direct the planning, execution, and successful closure of all depot-level repair projects for U.S. Navy Navigation equipment.
  • Lead the configuration, testing, and technical diagnosis of navigation systems and peripheral equipment.
  • Oversee the troubleshoot and repair of electronic components in accordance with NAVSEA, DoD technical manuals, and established depot procedures.
  • Provide expert technical leadership and on-the-job training to repair technicians, leveraging critical thinking skills for complex issue resolution.

Process & Quality Assurance:

  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve test and repair processes to ensure maximum efficiency, safety, and quality within the repair activity.
  • Ensure all depot processes and technical actions adhere to U.S. Navy maintenance procedures, Navy drawings, and MIL-STD documentation.

Programmatic & Stakeholder Communication:

  • Serve as the central point of contact, coordinating depot repair activities with U.S. Navy customers, engineers, and industrial partners.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive status, progress, and final reports detailing repair results and operational readiness.
  • Provide technical and programmatic input to Project Managers for contract proposals and Statements of Work (SOW).

Qualifications:

Education: Associate’s Degree in Engineering Technology, math, or science; or Formal electronics training from: Technical School, or Class A or B military school in electronics or communications; or four-year electronics apprentice program; or High School diploma or GED.

Experience : Twelve (12) years with degree/formal training or fourteen (14) years with HS/GED of practical experience to include: design, preparation and modification of engineering documents, and drawings. Ten (10) years of experience to include installation of US Navy Electronics. Ten (10) years of experience working with US Navy Navigation Systems, of which seven (7) must have been performed within the last nine (9) years. Experience may be achieved simultaneously.

As a requirement of employment, all SEACORP employees must hold U.S. Citizenship

Location: Norfolk, VA

Travel: Monthly (approximately once per month)

Clearance: Secret

Work Environment & Physical Demands: Warehouse - Standing and walking for extended periods of time. Significant use of material moving equipment, which includes climbing onto and off of equipment, turning head to visually see area around equipment, using hands and feet to safely control equipment. Significant lifting of <40 lbs.; occasional lifting >40 lbs. Significant use of computers, including use of a mouse and keyboard as well as viewing computer screens. Sitting, stooping, bending, twisting, reaching and squatting on a daily basis. Work is performed in variable environmental conditions heavily influenced by weather and proximity to shipping doors. Work is also impacted by dust, noise and constant activity associated with the movements of materials and people. Personal Protective Equipment: safety shoes are required; hearing protection and safety glasses are recommended.
