What are the responsibilities and job description for the Middle School ELA Teacher position at Seacoast Charter School?
Seacoast Charter School is seeking a passionate wordsmith to inspire the next generation of writers and thinkers! Our 7th and 8th grade team is looking for a creative, energetic ELA teacher to help our students find their voices. This candidate will be an experienced, enthusiastic, flexible and collaborative individual who brings passion, stories, and interactive projects to the classroom. The position requires a solid understanding of middle school students and the ability to plan for and implement best practices in an ELA classroom. The candidate will work daily with a team to create a rigorous and supporting learning environment for all students. We can’t wait to meet you!
Required Qualifications:
-Bachelor's Degree
-Experience teaching ELA at the middle school level
-A passion for integrating the arts
-Ability to collaborate with colleagues
Desired Qualifications:
-Degree in English or Social Studies
-NH Teaching Certification
-Innovative, flexible approach to teaching
