Seacoast Charter School seeks a Dean of Students to advance our progressive mission by partnering with the Head of School and staff to cultivate a positive, productive learning culture. This position reports to the Head of School.

Responsibilities
Student Services
-Support student behavior and social-emotional development
-Partner with families and staff to ensure student success
-Implement discipline policies and maintain documentation
-Lead behavior interventions, conflict resolution, and student support programming
-Collaborate with special education staff; attend IEP meetings as needed
-Lead the Student Support Team
Staff Support
-Coach and support staff in behavior management and intervention strategies
-Assist in developing and implementing behavior plans
-Consult with teachers and IEP teams
-Supervise and evaluate Teaching Assistants
Requirements
-5 years working with students with behavioral challenges
-Experience designing and implementing behavior plans
-Degree in Education, Special Education, Educational Administration, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
-Advanced degree in Education, Special Education, Educational Administration or a related field
-Knowledge of laws pertaining to student behavior and rights
-Supervisory experience
Terms of Employment
Salary: $57,750–$69,740
200-day contract
