Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, creative, and hands-on General Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the Atlantic View Hotel. This role is ideal for someone who excels in boutique hospitality, understands the seasonal rhythms of coastal markets, and thrives in a high-touch, service-forward environment. The General Manager will be responsible for all facets of property operations, while also shaping the service delivery, social media identity, brand reputation, and food & beverage presentation to reflect the personality of the hotel and the expectations of a modern traveler.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operations & Guest Experience
- Oversee all daily hotel operations to ensure consistent quality, cleanliness, and service excellence
- Maintain high standards across housekeeping, front desk, maintenance, and breakfast delivery
- Personally engage with guests throughout their stay; serve as the host during evening socials
- Ensure execution of the full guest journey, including scripted prearrival emails, welcome touchpoints, inroom amenities, evening treats, and bounceback offers
- Build, train, and motivate a small, crossfunctional team aligned with our core values of caring, creativity, and consistency
- Serve as an onsite mentor and lead by example with a handson approach
- Foster a culture of pride and performance through thoughtful team communication and recognition
- Partner with corporate to implement local marketing campaigns and social media content
- Contribute to AVH's visual identity through photography, storytelling, and brand voice
Food & Beverage Oversight
- Curate and maintain the breakfast and evening reception menus with input from guests and team members
- Ensure proper food handling, guest presentation, and quality standards are met
Financial & Strategic Performance
- Manage budget, expenses, and daily revenue reporting
- Control labor and cost of goods without compromising the guest experience
- Monitor market trends and STR reports to optimize ADR and occupancy

Ideal Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in hotel management, preferably in a boutique or selectservice setting
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a handson management style
- Familiarity with coastal or seasonal markets a plus
- Experience with RoomMaster PMS or similar systems
- Knowledge of social media platforms and online reputation management
- ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification (or willingness to obtain)

Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
