What are the responsibilities and job description for the Member Service Rep / Teller - Part Time - Tuesday-Friday in Bucksport + Saturday mornings in Hermon position at Seaboard Federal Credit Union?
Seaboard Federal Credit Union is seeking a part-time Member Service Representative (Teller) to be based at our Bucksport office, with Saturday mornings scheduled in our Hermon office. The person assigned to this position will serve as a front-line representative assisting members with daily banking transactions in person, by phone, and via electronic contact. Experienced MSR's have an opportunity to earn additional pay by taking on advanced tasks.
The standard work week will be Tuesday-Saturday, with Tuesday-Friday scheduled in our Bucksport office and Saturday mornings (7:45-12:15) scheduled in our Hermon office. Bucksport shifts will vary between mornings and afternoons with hours scheduled based on the needs of the Credit Union. An average Tuesday-Saturday week will total 30-33 hours.
Previous experience within the credit union or banking industry is preferred. An Associate degree or some college in a business related field is also preferred. Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong computer skills, previous customer service experience, and cash handling experience.
All hourly staff at Seaboard are part of a local Labor Union. Union membership will be established at the time of hire.
