- Supervise and coordinate all aspects of food preparation, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards
- Lead menu planning efforts, incorporating dietary guidelines and customer preferences to develop innovative meal options
- Oversee food safety protocols, including sanitizing procedures, proper food handling, and temperature controls to maintain compliance with health regulations
- Manage kitchen operations during service hours, operating equipment such as grills and other culinary tools efficiently

- Maintain inventory levels for ingredients and supplies while minimizing waste through effective stock management
Skills
- Proven experience as a dietary aide or in a dietary department within healthcare or institutional settings.
- Fine dining experience demonstrating attention to detail and presentation excellence
- Strong background in food preparation techniques such as braising, poaching, grilling, and meal assembly
- Proficiency operating commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety management systems and sanitizing procedures to prevent contamination
- Exceptional knife skills coupled with experience in high-volume production environments
- Familiarity with food industry standards related to catering, serving, and large-scale food handling
- Ability to follow recipes precisely while maintaining flexibility for special requests or dietary modifications
