Sea Sea Riders, a Dunedin staple for 37 years, is looking for a talented and motivated Sous Chef to join our culinary team. We’re a family-owned, coastal-inspired restaurant known for fresh seafood, classic comfort dishes, and warm hospitality. Position: Sous Chef
Schedule: 5 days per week (consistent schedule, closed Mondays)
Location: Downtown Dunedin, FL
What You’ll Do:
- Work closely with our Executive Chef to oversee daily kitchen operations
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
- Assist with menu execution, specials, and seasonal features
- Ensure proper food safety, cleanliness, and organization in all areas of the kitchen
- Help manage inventory, ordering, and cost control
- Lead by example in maintaining a positive and professional kitchen environment
What We’re Looking For:
- 2 years of experience in a sous chef role
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- A passion for coastal cuisine and scratch cooking
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Flexibility and reliability with scheduling
