The Final Detail Technician is responsible for preparing boats for delivery to owners or dealers by performing thorough cleaning, detailing, and basic preparation tasks. Installation of stickers, prep for travel, package upholstery, etc to ensure presentation and meeting quality and safety standards. The position requires physical work, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in an outdoor, marine environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleans hulls, decks, cabins, windows, seating, and storage compartments
- Removes dirt, manufacturing residue, grease, dust and debris using approved cleaning products and tools
- Prepare boats for transport by securing loose items and ensuring cleanliness standards are met
- Conduct basic inspections to identify visible damage or cleanliness issues and report them to a supervisor
- Safely use cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, vacuums
- Follow company safety procedures and environmental guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment
- Additional duties as assigned
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products and proper use (marine experience preferred but not required)
- Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in boat cleaning, auto detailing, or related work is a plus
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and crouch for extended periods
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs
