What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Runner position at Sea Palms?
Position Summary: A Food Runner is the connecting piece between the kitchen and front of house operation. Food Runners are expected to deliver food, clear tables, and act as a server assistant for the front of house wait staff while displaying exceptional guest service.

Reports to: Restaurant Manager
Essential Functions:
- Serve guest & members their meals in an efficient manner.
- Communicate orders to the kitchen staff.
- Clear dirty dishes and glasses, reset tables, wipe down chairs, and maintain a clean environment.
- Responsible for stocking and labeling condiments in the kitchen.
Experience:
Previous experience in a restaurant preferred. On the job training is provided.
Skills and Abilities
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
Other
Must speak English fluently. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Mathematical skills include basic math. Problem solving, reasoning, and ability to multi-task and interact with people under pressure. Will be expected to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
