This is a full-time, on-site role based in Wilmington, NC, for an Accounts Payable Specialist. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for managing and processing vendor invoices, reconciling expense reports, preparing and posting journal entries, and handling payment disbursements. The role requires maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the finance team with accounting-related tasks while contributing to efficient operations.
- Proficiency in Expense Reports and strong Analytical Skills
- Knowledge and experience in Finance and Accounting practices
- Ability to prepare and manage Journal Entries in accounting systems
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities
- Familiarity with accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role is a plus
