Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized House Manager to oversee the daily operations of a Residential Group Home that supports individuals with Developmental Disabilities and Autism. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, managing the Direct Care staff, managing all physician's appointments, provide training to support staff, managing the individuals medications and overseeing all electronic documentation for the home. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent time management, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of direct support staff.
- Oversee residential operations to ensure high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the home.
- Manage property maintenance schedules and liaise with contractors for repairs and renovations as needed.
- Manage the individuals dietary needs in accordance with dietary preferences and requirements.
- Managing the individuals medical and dental appointments and ensuring all physician's orders are carried out.
- Managing the individuals medications, including controlled medications.
- Completes required training in professional development.
- Manages the individuals personal finances in accordance to standards.
- Maintain inventory of household supplies and manage purchasing as necessary.
- Implement effective time management strategies to prioritize tasks and ensure smooth daily operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any household concerns or requests promptly.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a secure environment for all residents.
- MUST have flexible schedule including on call weekends
Experience
- Proven experience in a residential group home mandatory.
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on meeting the needs of the individuals we support and their families.
- MUST have a strong background in medical processes and terminology.
