About the Role
As a Dietary Aide, you will assist with meal preparation, serving, and kitchen operations to ensure residents, patients, and guests receive nutritious and delicious meals in a clean and welcoming environment. Your role is vital in supporting their well-being and dignity every day.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in serving meals and beverages to residents, patients, and guests with efficiency and care.
Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and dining area, following all sanitation and safety guidelines.
Deliver and retrieve food carts, plates, and utensils in a timely and respectful manner.
Monitor food inventory levels and report supply needs to the Head Cook or Director.
Attend regular trainings to stay updated on dietary requirements and facility procedures.
Support the dietary team in meal preparation, plating, and kitchen organization as needed.
What You Bring
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous food service experience preferred, but not required – we are willing to train the right candidate.
Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Knowledge of proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, to meet resident needs.
