Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced, motivated and results-oriented Sales Representative to join our team in the Fernandina/Amelia Island, FL area. This role will involve building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients, promoting our range of food products, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, including retailers, restaurants, and foodservice businesses.
- Identify and target new sales opportunities within your assigned territory.
- Promote our diverse food product range to potential clients.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with customers to close deals and meet sales targets.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring all orders are processed accurately and promptly.
- Preparing and presenting sales proposals and contracts
- Maintain and update customer records in various systems.
- Collaborate with the marketing, sales, and operations teams to align sales strategies and ensure timely product delivery.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Proven sales experience, ideally in the food distribution or related industry.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
- Highly motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license, updated vehicle insurance and reliable transportation
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of food products, distribution, and the food service industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
