Senior Rita’s is seeking experienced, service‑oriented Upscale Servers to provide exceptional dining experiences in a refined, high‑energy restaurant setting. Our servers are expected to deliver seamless, elevated service while maintaining warmth, confidence, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, refined service throughout the entire guest experience—from greeting to farewell
- Demonstrate strong menu knowledge, including food ingredients, preparation methods, and suggested pairings
- Guide guests through menu selections with confidence and professionalism
- Execute service steps with precision, timing, and attention to detail
- Communicate clearly and collaboratively with kitchen, bar, and support staff
- Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns promptly and tactfully
- Accurately enter orders and manage checks using the POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, side stations, and service areas
- Uphold all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service standards
- Represent the Senior Rita’s brand with poise, hospitality, and respect at all times
Qualifications & Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in an upscale, high‑volume restaurant environment preferred
- Strong understanding of elevated service standards and guest etiquette
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm, polished, and efficient in a fast‑paced setting
- Detail‑oriented with strong multitasking and time‑management skills
- Team‑focused mindset with a strong work ethic
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must hold or be able to obtain required Florida food handling and alcohol service certifications
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry trays, plates, or supplies up to 25 lbs
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
