Minimum Qualifications
HS Diploma; CDA preferred
60 college hours or pass the parapro test
Skills Required
Assist the Pre-K Classroom Teacher in the management of a preschool classroom by establishing a safe and secure learning environment
Assist the Pre-K Classroom Teacher in the execution of weekly lesson plans to promote early literacy, math, and social/emotional skills
Physically able to lift items less than 15 lbs., squat, and sit on the floor
Ability to manage classroom materials and supplies
Attend parent nights, staff meetings, and staff development training as needed
Comply with DHS and ABC rules and regulations
Follow School District and Southeast Arkansas Education Service Cooperative policies and procedures
Successful applicants must pass local, state and federal criminal background checks as well as a child maltreatment registry check.
