osition Overview
We are looking for a customer-focused Retail Sales Associate who can create a welcoming, professional in-store experience while assisting customers with purchases, trades, and consignments.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide knowledgeable, courteous service
- Assist with buying, selling, and trading firearms and accessories
- Evaluate used firearms for trade or consignment in a fair and transparent manner
- Accurately process sales using POS systems
- Assist customers with ATF Form 4473 completion
- Maintain organized and well-stocked sales floor
- Answer phones and assist with customer inquiries
- Cross-sell and recommend products based on customer needs
- Follow all firearm safety procedures at all times
Qualifications
- Retail or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Firearms knowledge preferred but not required (training provided)
Requirements
Candidates must be able to meet employment eligibility requirements set by the Colorado Firearms Dealer Division, including:
- Passing required background checks
- Legal eligibility to possess firearms
- Compliance with all applicable state regulations
