SDP Real Estate is seeking a reliable, hands-on Property Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of a portfolio of residential properties. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, dependable, and comfortable handling a variety of maintenance tasks, apartment turnover work, and seasonal property needs.
- Complete apartment turnover work between tenants
- Support seasonal maintenance needs and other property operations as directed
- Assist with ongoing maintenance projects and general property improvements
- Handle general maintenance and upkeep to keep properties safe, clean, and functional
- Perform snow and ice removal during winter weather events
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- One unpaid lunch hour
- In-person work at SDP Real Estate properties and related job sites
- May require work outside standard hours for emergencies, urgent maintenance, and snow/ice removal
- Experience in property maintenance, building maintenance, apartment turnover, handyman work, or a related field
- Ability to perform basic repairs and general upkeep tasks independently
- Strong reliability, time management, and attention to detail
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions when needed
- Ability to respond to urgent maintenance needs outside normal business hours
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
- Experience with residential maintenance and turnover work
- Familiarity with general repair tasks, including plumbing, electrical, painting, patching, and basic carpentry
- Experience with snow and ice removal
- Ability to prioritize tasks across multiple properties
- Weekly W-2 pay
- Overtime available with prior approval
