Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Testing Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests and inspections on electronic components and assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards, and assisting other departments as needed. This role requires a strong understanding of precision measuring instruments and the ability to work with various testing equipment. The Testing Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our products through meticulous testing and data collection.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough testing of electrical wire harnesses and cable assemblies according to established protocols.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate measurements.
- Perform optical inspections and test automation processes to identify defects or inconsistencies.
- Collect and analyze data from tests to provide insights into product performance and quality.
- Fabricate test fixtures as needed to support testing processes.
- Maintain detailed records of test results, observations, and any issues encountered during testing.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot problems and improve testing procedures.
- Ensure compliance with IPC 610 standards throughout the testing process.
Skills
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
- Familiarity with IPC 610 standards related to electronic assembly quality.
- Experience with test automation tools and automated optical inspection systems.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to work with hand tools for fabrication tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills for data collection and analysis.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with team members.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
