We are seeking a motivated Equipment Testing Technician to play a critical role in protecting utility workers and electricians by inspecting and testing essential electrical safety equipment in our Fargo, ND location with $17.50/hr pay for a 3-month contract with Temp-to-Hire potential based on performance and business needs. Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Dress Code: Casual (Shorts permitted)
PPE: Closed-toe shoes required (Gloves and safety glasses provided)
What You'll Do
- Test and inspect electrical safety equipment to ensure it meets recertification standards.
- Operate testing equipment to prepare, evaluate, and process materials safely.
- Manage inventory by tracking testing status, shipping, receiving, and organizing equipment.
- Lift, move, and stage equipment and materials weighing 50 lbs as needed.
- Maintain accurate records using basic computer systems and support daily warehouse operations.
What We're Looking For
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and testing documentation.
- Ability to lift and move 50 lbs and remain on your feet throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow procedures accurately.
- Reliable team player who can work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organizational skills and a strong work ethic.
- Previous warehouse, equipment testing, manufacturing, or inventory experience is a plus, but training is provided.
