Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong experience in CRM and ERP systems to lead requirements gathering and analysis for enterprise data warehouse initiatives. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and IT teams to translate complex business needs into scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with systems such as Salesforce, Oracle Fusion, and Model N, and can effectively bridge the gap between business and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end business analysis activities for data warehouse and data integration projects
- Collaborate with stakeholders across sales, finance, operations, and IT to gather, analyze, and document business requirements
- Elicit and define functional and non-functional requirements for building and enhancing a centralized data warehouse
- Analyze data from CRM and ERP platforms including Salesforce, Oracle Fusion, and Model N to identify key data elements and relationships
- Develop detailed business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, data mappings, and process flows
- Work with data architects and engineers to design data models, ETL processes, and reporting structures
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and stakeholder meetings to ensure alignment and clarity
- Validate data accuracy, transformations, and business logic during development and testing phases
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and data optimization across systems
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field
- 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on data warehousing or data integration projects
- Strong experience working with CRM and ERP systems, specifically Salesforce, Oracle Fusion, and Model N
- Proven experience gathering and documenting requirements for enterprise data warehouse solutions
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts (star schema, snowflake schema)
- Experience with SQL and data analysis tools
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SQL
- Familiarity with BI/reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices
- Agile/Scrum experience and familiarity with tools like Jira or Confluence
