About the Role
As a Business Data Scientist, you will develop advanced analytical solutions tailored to the specific industries. You will address a variety of business problems such as pricing strategies, product recommendation engines, demand forecasting, and segmentation methodologies, driving data-driven decision-making and measurable performance improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand key challenges and translate them into actionable analytical approaches.
- Design and implement data-driven solutions to support strategic decision-making and business growth.
- Develop and deliver clear, compelling insight reports and presentations tailored to business audiences.
- Lead project teams, ensuring insights are effectively translated into business value.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing stakeholder expectations, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Support commercial activities by contributing to project proposals, defining scopes, objectives, and deliverables.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering their ability to generate impactful business insights.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset.
- 5 years of proven experience developing industry use cases (CPG & Retail ideally).
- Solid background in advanced analytics, including predictive modeling, econometrics, time-series analysis, and causal inference.
- Proficiency with analytical tools such as Python, R, SQL, and relevant BI platforms.
- Experience with optimization techniques and experiment design (A/B testing) is a strong plus.
- Excellent storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex analyses into clear, actionable business recommendations.
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to collaborate with business teams at various levels.
Salary : $70,000 - $120,000
