Student Life Building Services is a highly dedicated team of individuals who ensure building safety, security and cleanliness of SDSU's residence halls, student union and Miller Wellness Center. This posting will be used to fill multiple positions with various shift times available. Certain shifts may qualify for a $1.25/hour shift differential.Job Responsibilities: Ensure building safety, security, cleanliness, and setups meet the needs in accordance with SDSU Wellness Center, Residential Life, and Student Union standards. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of: • Cleaning equipment, and cleaning chemicals. Skill & Ability to: • Operate cleaning equipment • communicate effectively, orally and in writing • follow oral and written instructions • lift and carry up to 65 pounds; move equipment and supplies up stairs • work on a 3 to 6 ft ladder • work in subzero temperatures and temperatures above 90 degrees • associate positively and professionally with students, co-workers and the public Required License: Valid driver’s license is required. Comments: Applicants should detail prior professional cleaning experience on their application. On-call rotation and occasional weekends/holiday hours are required.
