Job Responsibilities: Care and feeding of animals housed in the Animal Resource Wing. Assist with research projects as necessary. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of: Ability to recognize animal health problemsAnimal handling techniquesBasic understanding of biosecurityBasic computer knowledge and knowledge of Microsoft Office Skill & Ability to: Interpret and follow written and oral instructions pertaining to research projects and animal management.Make decisions effectively and accurately in an environment which may be fast paced or changing. Work effectively and cooperatively in a team environment.Clearly, effectively, and respectfully communicate with employees and research team members. Required License: Valid driver’s license Preferred Qualifications: At least one year of animal care in either an agriculture or research setting.
