Scope:
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on schedule, within budget, and according to quality standards. This role involves high-level project planning, financial oversight, and team leadership.
Duties:
- Develop and oversee project budgets, schedules, and procurement plans.
- Ensure that all projects meet financial objectives, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Manage contracts, subcontracts, and vendor negotiations.
- Conduct high-level project risk assessments and implement mitigation plans.
- Direct and oversee all site personnel, ensuring efficient execution of projects.
- Serve as the primary liaison between executives, clients, engineers, and project teams.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and performance evaluations for project staff.
- Resolve high-level project challenges, including resource allocation, workforce disputes, and technical issues.
- Develop and implement safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all on-site workers.
- Enforce and ensure that all projects comply with OSHA, state, and federal construction regulations.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, regulatory agencies, and subcontractors.
- Lead client meetings, site visits, and status update presentations.
- Manage contractual obligations, change orders, and disputes professionally.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress, issues, and risks.
- Ensure that all necessary permits and licenses are obtained, and all regulatory requirements are met.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, business administration, building science, or similar field preferred.
- 10 years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record in managing industrial projects.
- Extensive knowledge of construction processes, project controls, and financial management.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage multiple teams and projects.
- Ability to interpret technical blueprints, engineering documents, and regulatory guidelines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and construction management software required.
- OSHA 30 certification required.
- Valid, unencumbered driver’s license required.
