Your expertise will help athletes improve their swing mechanics, timing, and overall offensive performance while promoting safety and sportsmanship.
- Develop tailored hitting programs that align with each athlete’s skill level and goals, emphasizing proper technique and consistency.
- Demonstrate and teach fundamental hitting mechanics, including stance, grip, swing path, and follow-through.
- Analyze players' swings using video technology or live observation to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide constructive feedback and motivation to boost players’ confidence and performance during practices and games.
- Collaborate with other coaching staff to integrate hitting strategies within overall team development plans.
- Ensure a safe training environment by enforcing proper safety protocols during drills and exercises.
- Track player progress through detailed records, adjusting coaching methods as needed to maximize growth.
- Prior experience in sports coaching with a focus on hitting or batting instruction preferred.
- Background in baseball or softball playing at competitive levels is highly advantageous.
- Experience working with youth or student athletes, demonstrating strong behavior management skills.
- Knowledge of biomechanics related to swinging techniques and ability to teach proper form.
- Familiarity with video analysis tools for swing evaluation is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively teach children and adolescents of diverse backgrounds.
