Role Description

The Central Station Operator is a full-time, on-site role located in Tampa, FL. The operator will be responsible for monitoring and responding promptly to alarm signals, managing emergency notifications, and coordinating with internal and external partners. Key responsibilities include assessing and prioritizing alarm notifications, maintaining accurate incident records, and providing professional service to clients in high-pressure situations. The role requires adherence to established protocols and ensuring quick and effective communication to maintain the safety and security of monitored locations.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills to effectively interact with clients and team members under varying situations
• Ability to assess, prioritize, and respond quickly and accurately to emergency notifications
• Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment
• Proficiency with monitoring systems, including alarm management platforms, and basic computer skills
• Attention to detail and organizational skills for accurate incident record-keeping and reporting
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and maintain composure under pressure
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Experience in security, monitoring operations, or emergency response is a plus
• High school diploma or GED required; additional certifications in security or related fields are a bonus
