Job Description
Do you have web development and tech support experience and want more variety in your day? We are seeking a person with web development and tech support experience for a full-time position. This person will be working with management to maintain and deploy computer systems, provide hardware and software support to staff, develop new web applications, as well as maintain and improve existing web applications.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and extend existing custom PHP applications
- Develop new scripts or applications in PHP, Python or other languages
- Provide hardware and software support for office staff and remote sales teams
- Install and maintain computer hardware, networks, and software
- Troubleshoot software and hardware issues over the phone, remote desktop, and in-person
- Support users in the use of equipment and software by providing necessary training/advice
- Maintain documentation of IT assets
- Support users in the use of equipment and software by providing necessary training/advice
- Any other duties assigned by supervisor
Required Experience
- Working with SQL databases
- Python scripting or application development
- Supporting Windows systems in person or remotely
- Working with Microsoft Office apps like Excel, Outlook, Word, etc
- Proficient with iOS and Android
- Solid understanding of computer networking
- Ability to think critically and solve technical issues independently
Preferred Experience
- Managing Microsoft 365, Exchange, or Intune
- PHP based web development
- HTML, CSS, Javascript
- Working knowledge of the Linux terminal
Bonus Experience
- Experience with Laravel or other PHP frameworks
- API usage and design
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree, Associate degree, or equivalent experience
Other
- Be able to work at our office in Elkhart, IN
- Occasional travel to other states possible
