POSITION TITLE: Summer Intern
Position Summary
This position may be assigned in an administrative support department or in a research laboratory. Interns receive closely supervised training and are able to develop professional skills. Duties vary based on assigned administrative department or research lab. This is a temporary paid position for a maximum of 90 days and is subject to minimum wage and overtime laws. Students can work up to 40 hours a week.

Responsibilities And Duties
Potential Projects may include but are not limited to:
- Assist with onboarding new suppliers by collecting and verifying required documentation
- Review and update existing supplier profiles
- Supplier maintenance
- Assist with data cleanup projects in Jaggaer (duplicate records, inactive suppliers, missing fields)
- Help build or maintain reference data such as commodity codes, account codes, or department mappings
- Help test system configurations or new features in a staging environment
- Category Spend
- Supplier Spend
- Ad Hoc Reports
- Data normalization
The expected hiring range for this position is $17.75 to $23.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. Consideration will be given to experience that exceeds the listed requirements.
Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in high school, an associate’s program, a bachelors program or masters program.
- Job will be on-site at Scripps Research Institute
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including basic formulas and data organization
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working with large datasets
