Job Title: Warehouse Associate – Agriculture Operations

Position Overview:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory control, efficient product flow, and compliance with safety and quality standards. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of agricultural products and farm operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily receiving, storage, and shipping of agricultural products, supplies, and equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, perform regular cycle counts, and reconcile variances.
- Schedule and monitor inbound/outbound shipments; communicate with vendors, carriers, and farm managers.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, proper handling of fertilizers, feed, chemicals, seed, and other ag materials.
- Oversee warehouse layout, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance.
- Develop and maintain efficient systems for labeling, tracking, and reporting inventory.
- Collaborate with accounting and production teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Train and supervise seasonal or permanent warehouse staff.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in warehouse coordination, inventory management, or logistics—preferably in agriculture or farm supply.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping.
- Familiarity with ERP or inventory management software.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery (certification preferred).
- Understanding of safe handling and storage requirements for agricultural materials.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varying conditions.
Education:
- High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in agriculture, logistics, or related field preferred.
