Warehouse Coordinator – Agriculture Operations

Position Overview:
The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory control, efficient product flow, and compliance with safety and quality standards. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of agricultural products and farm operations.
Key Responsibilities:
\tCoordinate daily receiving, storage, and shipping of agricultural products, supplies, and equipment.
\tMaintain accurate inventory records, perform regular cycle counts, and reconcile variances.
\tSchedule and monitor inbound/outbound shipments; communicate with vendors, carriers, and farm managers.
\tEnsure compliance with safety regulations, proper handling of fertilizers, feed, chemicals, seed, and other ag materials.
\tOversee warehouse layout, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance.
\tDevelop and maintain efficient systems for labeling, tracking, and reporting inventory.
\tCollaborate with accounting and production teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
\tTrain and supervise seasonal or permanent warehouse staff.
Qualifications:
\tPrevious experience in warehouse coordination, inventory management, or logistics—preferably in agriculture or farm supply.
\tStrong organizational and problem-solving skills.
\tExceptional attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping.
\tFamiliarity with ERP or inventory management software.
\tAbility to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery (certification preferred).
\tUnderstanding of safe handling and storage requirements for agricultural materials.
\tStrong communication and teamwork skills.
\tAbility to lift 50 lbs and work in varying conditions.
Education:
\tHigh school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in agriculture, logistics, or related field preferred.
